A great start to the Sherlock Holmes collection.

I have heard a lot of things about Sherlock Holmes. I’ve watched one of the movies, and a few of the TV dramas. But I haven’t actually read any of the books until now.

In this book Watson meets Holmes as roommates to 221B. Then, Holmes is called to a grotesque murder scene. With nothing to do, Dr. John Watson sets off with Sherlock to investigate. There is vengeful writing in blood and a missing wedding ring at the location but what does that mean….

I enjoyed this book and it was difficult to put down.

Note: I read it from Sherlock Holmes: the collection (kindle)

They are full of excitement, emotion and adventure. I also love the style and genre. These books deserve 5 big stars, because I loved reading them and I could never put them down.

Good, but a bit hard to understand.

If I were Phileas Fogg, I would want to travel to America because of the entertainment, food and tech. But this is not the case for him. Fogg has to travel around  the world in 80 days in the 1880s. It’s also on a £20,000 wager and Fogg brings £20,000 of his own for the trip.

With Passepartout, Fogg sets of on his journey with bets being made all over Britain. What will happen to the pair? Will they succeed?  And who will they meet? Find out in this thrilling book!

Note: I read it from the kindle version.

An amazing fantasy tale.

The Hobbit is a fantasy story like no other ( apart from the Lord of the Rings). Harry Potter’s a lot different and so is Percy Jackson.

Bilbo is a Hobbit. A rather quiet one as well. He likes his food, keeps everything tidy and loves music. But when he is chosen by Gandalf, he and a group of dwarves take a perilous journey to find the fierce dragon Smaug and his treasure. Weapons are acquired, Creature are slayed and a meeting with a goblin is only the start of Bilbo and the teams problems. And what awaits our adventurers on their quest?

I rate it 4.5 stars only because 5 is more precious and this book took me too long to finish.

Ready to turn into a Minecraft hacker? These four Minecraft handbooks will give you ideas about what to build, how to fight enemies, teach beginners how to be a confident player and make you become a Redstone master. The books come with a durable case with pictures of Minecraft things on it. Out of five stars I would give it five whole stars because these handbooks are so awesome and only using four medium books, they can teach you a lot more about Minecraft. Even if you are already a great player, you can always get some good Minecraft tips from these books.

I absolutely love these books in fact ,I am a wimpy kid fan. Out of five stars,I would give it five whole stars because these books are the best  books in the world. Diary of a wimpy kid books are about a boy called Greg and he writes  diaries about his life, embarrassments and school. The language is a cool type of language and is very funny. Even though these books are very thick, the writing is not joined up and they are very easy to read. You will find the series very interesting and the pictures are hilarious and simple to draw. These books are for boys, but girls like me,will still love Diary of a wimpy kid books.

I was gripped to this book but it isn’t as good as any of the originals.

Albus, son of Harry Potter, and his friend Scorpius ( son of Draco Malfoy) embark on a quest to bring back Cedric Diggory from a needless death with the help of a recovered Time-Turner. I think the fact that JK Rowling has used new characters and not the old three is effective but the old three are now like a joke with Ron practically being a clown. The new villain, Delphi has a more reasonable aim over other evil-minded people. The way the author has given Draco and Harry a kind of friendship enhances the story.

I have one issue though – the sudden changes in the first act. The Cursed Child is a script, not a play. If it was a book, JK Rowling would have dedicated at least half a chapter to each vision. The Cursed Child would be five star – if it was a proper storybook.
